MADISON-Arnold G. “Arnie” Bennett, age 56, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014. He was born on Oct. 14, 1957. Arnold worked for Madison Metro Transit for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his time at DeJope with his mother and daughter. Arnie also enjoyed fishing, hunting and cheering on the Brewers and Packers. Arnie is survived by his mother, Pam; daughter, Lindsay Bennett; son, Ryan Bennett; siblings, Stephanie (Harlan) Ott, Connie (Bob) Geishirt and Norris Bennett; a niece; three nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. In lieu of A ceremonial service will be held at his father’s gravesite at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the family. The family would like to thank the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for their care and support, especially Shannon, Sherri and Amanda. We would also like to thank the pharmaceutical staff at Wal-Mart East. |
