| About | TOMAHAWK - John M. Lewison, 39, of Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born July 3, 1970, in Madison, son of Andrew "Mike" and Judi Tomlinson Lewison. John married Tanya Callenberg on Aug. 7, 1999, in Poynette. He loved snowmobiling, fishing and playing board games and cards with his kids. John is survived by his wife, Tanya; three children, Kayla, Alexandria and Andrew Lewison; his parents, Mike and Judi Lewison of Arlington; a sister, Angela Jauneau of Creil, France; maternal grandmother, Leora Tomlinson of Poynette; and many aunts, uncles, other near relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Tomlinson; and paternal grandparents, Harvey and Huld "Toots" Hohlstein Lewison. A celebration of John's life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Poynette City Hall, 106 S. Main St., Poynette. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The John Lewison Memorial Fund at Citizen's Bank, 227 W. Wisconsin Ave., Tomahawk, WI 54487. Gunderson Fitchburg Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family. "I'm lucky to have loved my best friend. Lucky to have been where I have been.
