He believed in his children's education and encouraged them to pursue their identity, passions and desires. As for Danny, he was a sports enthusiast and kept close watch on the Badgers (his alma mater), the Bucks, Packers, Brewers, but his greatest love was for ice hockey and was a season ticket holder for The Arizona Coyotes. A close second was his interest for reading whether it be history, government issues and best sellers. He also coached soccer and conducted trial mock classes at a local Scottsdale High School. He kept in close contact with his family through social media. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus and did volunteer work with the St. Vincent de Paul Society in the Scottsdale area.
