About | Brenda L. Butler, age 35, of Wilson, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born Feb. 9, 1970, in Menomonie to Jim and Jean (Hawkinson) Drury. Brenda married Richard Butler on Aug. 4, 1995, at the Wilson Lutheran Church in the town of Cady. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; she could always make them laugh. Brenda also enjoyed writing, camping and gardening. She was very strong-willed and she will be sadly missed. Brenda is preceded in death by a sister, Pam Bengston, and maternal and paternal grandparents. Brenda is survived by her husband, Richard Butler of Wilson; three children, Dennis “DJ”, Rose and Erin, all at home; her parents, Jim and Jean Drury of Boyceville; mother-in-law, Sharon Butler of Wilson; three sisters, Debbie (Mark) Engle of Menomonie, Cheryl (Joe) Stacken of New Richmond, and Laurie (Dan) Schlottman of Boyceville; a brother-in-law, Lonnie Bengston of Elmwood; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at the Anderson Everts Funeral Home in Glenwood City with the Rev. Leroy Nelson officiating. Final disposition will be the Eau Claire Crematory in Eau Claire. |
