| About | Charles M. Frank, age 61, of Menomonie died Tues., Aug. 26, 2003 at his home with his family at his side. Charles was born on July 13, 1942 in the city of Menomonie to Martin and Irma Frank. He lived in the Weston area until moving to Menomonie in 1951. On May 4, 1963, he married Darlene Draeger. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Wisconsin Carpenters Union Local 1074 for 23 ½ years. His ill health forced him into retirement 3 years before his death. Charles enjoyed building homes and furniture, hunting and the outdoors. His greatest love was his wife, children and grandchildren. Charles is survived by: 3 children Tim (Cora) Frank of Menomonie Tracy (Tim) Skillings of Menomonie Teri (Kevin) Smeltzer of Menomonie 6 grandchildren Marissa, Jessica and Nathan Frank Shelby and Kelsey Skillings Jacob Smeltzer A sister, Janet (Steve) Close of Colfax A brother, Leonard (Merna) Frank of Menomonie Mother-in-law, Verla Draeger of Menomonie Many nieces, nephews and cousins And other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Irma Frank; his father-in-law, Leo Draeger; and a grandson, Bryce Smeltzer. |
