About | Jacquelene Christina Pattison, 27, known as Christina, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in Hershey, Pa., as a result of an automobile accident. The daughter of Ransom Stiles Pattison (deceased 1990) and Jacquelene Marie Robeck, she was born in Denton, Texas on July 22, 1980. She grew up in Menomonie, where she graduated as valedictorian from Menomonie High School. She received her B.S. in biology and her Ph.D. in endocrinology and reproductive physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She studied abroad at The University of British West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, and took summer courses at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Air Force in 2006 as a ready reserve, participating in the F. Edward Herbert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship program at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She was a second-year medical student at the Hershey Medical School, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology with a specialization in infertility. Her love of life and people was evident by her wide travels in the U.S. and abroad, her ever-increasing circle of friends, and her community service in all places she lived: Belchertown, Mass., Menomonie, Nicosia, Cyprus, Madison, and Lebanon, Pa. She volunteered with the Special Olympics and was a strong supporter of hospice and breast and brain cancer research groups. Christina married Zachary Mark Fehrenbach, known as Zach, of Milwaukee, on Nov. 26, 2005. They lived in Madison while Christina completed her Ph.D., and then made their home in Lebanon, Pa., in 2006. Zach is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Zach currently serves as a police officer with the Lower Paxton Township Police Department (suburb of Harrisburg, Pa.). Christina is survived by her dear husband, Zach, 28; mother, Jacquelene Robeck; stepfather, Al Steward, of Maurice, La.; sisters, Allison Marie Pattison, 25, of Lafayette, La., Jessica Ann Pattison, 22, of Baton Rouge, La.; maternal grandmother, Donna Robeck of Arvada, Colo.; paternal grandmother, Mary Pattison of Denton, Texas; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather, Harvey Robeck, and paternal grandfather, George Pattison. * A memorial service was held for the Hershey medical and police communities on Monday, Feb. 4, at the Hershey Medical Center Auditorium. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 7, in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, La. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Menomonie at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008. (The new location for Grace Episcopal Church is E4357 451st Avenue, near Pinewood Golf Course). Following the service and reception at the church, Christina will be inurned with her father at Bundy Hall, located at 500 Meadow Hill Drive in Menomonie. The family requests that visitation be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at Grace Episcopal Church.
