| About | Joe Roach, age 31, of Eau Claire, WI, died on Monday, May 2, 2011 in Menomonie, WI. Joe was born August 6, 1979 in Northern Idaho. In 1986 he and his family returned to Eau Claire and eventually moved to Menomonie where Joe attended school, graduating from Menomonie High School in 1997. Joe attended Brown Institute in Mpls, MN graduating Magna Cum Laude in Media Production. He worked for WQOW-TV 18 in Eau Claire as an Editor, Director, and Technical Director for the past five years. Joe treasured his friends and family. He was especially close to his two brothers and his sister. He was an avid reader, loved music, movies, and traveling. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was loved dearly by all who knew him. Joe is survived by his parents, Jim and Sharon Roach of Menomonie; one sister, Brianna Roach (Tony Huettner) of Eau Claire; two brothers, Nick Roach of Anaheim, CA. and T.J. Roach of Menomonie; one niece, Angelina; one nephew, Bobby; grandparents, Betty Roach and Edward and Barbara Pond; aunts and uncles; many cousins; and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Roach. |
