| About | Robert Lee Ahrens age 62, of Minneapolis, died Friday, March 28, 2008 in Dakota County, MN. Robert Lee Ahrens was born August 1, 1945 in Menomonie, WI, the son of Arnold and Marie (Pax) Ahrens. Ruben worked as an electrician for the Minneapolis Public Schools and was a member of the IBEW. He was also a long time Board member of the Valley Lounge and certified PICKLE. Ruben was a lifelong Packer fan and enjoyed weekends at his cabin. His favorite saying was It's nice to be important, but more important to be NICE. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
