| About | Ruth M. Schneck Dunn County News, Sun, Feb. 13, 2005, A6 Ruth M. Schneck, age 76, of Menomonie, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. Ruth was born March 18, 1928, to George and Emma (Holzhueter) Schneck in the Town of Menomonie. Ruth graduated from Menomonie High School and was a lifelong resident of Menomonie. She was a dedicated employee of Sanna Dairies for over 45 years. Ruth was baptized, confirmed and a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her dedication to the children of St. Paul's was shown in her teaching and volunteering. Ruth enjoyed singing in the church choir for over 50 years. She was also the chapter secretary for AAL for many years. Ruth was a very giving person and her greatest joy was to serve others. One of her favorite events was to organize family reunions. She was also an avid photographer, Menomonie history buff and liked gardening. Ruth is survived by: a sister Jane (Alan) Eke of Ham Lake, Minn.; a brother, David Schneck of Greendale; five nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends |
