About | Shirley J. Ensign-Kincade, age 62, of Menomonie, WI died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Spring Valley Health Care Center. The former Shirley Jean Kincade was born Oct. 3, 1944 in Menomonie, WI to Lawrence and Vera (Knott) Kincade. She was raised in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1962. Shirley married Russell Peterson in 1962 and they had two children, Randy and Vicki. They were divorced and Shirley later married Rickey Ensign on Dec. 11, 1978. They had a daughter, Jerilynn and later divorced. Shirley worked as a legal secretary at several different law offices in the Twin Cities area for many years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, horseback riding, playing Scrabble and watching game shows. She was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers. Shirley was very family oriented. She was the rock of the family, and could always be depended upon to help whoever was in need. She would lead from adversity into laughter. Shirley is survived by: Her son and her two daughters, Randy (Tammy) Peterson of River Falls Vicki Taylor of Oakdale, MN Jerilynn Ensign of Menomonie Six grandchildren, Jesse, Jamie Lee and Jacob Peterson; Shawn, Terry and Brian Taylor. Her mother, Vera Kincade of Menomonie Two sisters, Laura Martin of Spooner Patty (Harold) Kruschke of Eau Claire Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Kincade; and two brothers, Robert “Larry†Kincade and Roger Kincade. |
