About | Ron, who lived with his wife of 37 years, Nancy, in Waukesha, WI, passed away the day after Thanksgiving, November 26, 2021. Ron graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in criminal investigation and went on to become a police officer and later an investigator with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. He did undercover narcotics work, murder investigations and kept track of motorcycle gangs. In the late 70s, Ron was an instructor at Yun’s Blackbelt Academy – United Tae Kwon Do Federation, Inc. in Milwaukee. He had a black belt in Judo and a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He was also a motorcycle safety instructor. After retiring from the police department, Ron went on to work in a photography studio and photographed many weddings. Ron went to Iraq from 2005-2008 as an international police advisor. When he returned home, he worked as a cold case homicide detective. In his later years, Ron spent much of his time driving his Miata and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid member of the BMW Motorcycle Club.
