| About | Beverly Ann Schneider Age 72, of Rice Lake, WI, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Eau Claire, WI. She was born on August 20, 1952 in Rice Lake to Fabian and Helen (Foss) Edlund. Bev graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1970 and was married to Allen Schneider on September 30, 1971. They dairy farmed in the Town of Rice Lake for many years and she was also an aide at Tainter Elementary School in Rice Lake. She enjoyed having children out to the farm and teaching them the life of a dairy farmer. She was Mrs. Christmas to many people that knew her and decorated her house from top to bottom. Bev was not just a mom and grandma just to her own family, but to many other families. Her love for decorating was incredible and her eye for detail was undeniable. Bev enjoyed setting her table for every holiday and loved having people enjoy her wonderful meals. She always created the most unique experience for everyone. Bev’s love for her family was the most important thing in her life and cherished every moment she had with them. She enjoyed gardening, mowing, shopping, her time with the Queenagers, the monthly birthday dinner group, snowmobiling, going side by side ATVing and going to her grandchildren’s activities and events. Bev is survived by her husband, Allen Schneider; 2 children, Eric Schneider (Jen Davis) and Amy (Mike) Richter; 6 grandchildren, Emily Richter (Nick Dewell), Megan Richter (Jacoby Endreas), Thomas Richter (Maddy Wibel), Jacob Schneider, Hailey Schneider and Evan Kruger; a great grandson, Briggs; a sister, Barb (John) Rowe; a brother-in-law, Tom McGiffin; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fabian and Helen Edlund; and 2 sisters, Shelby Gulla and Gloria McGiffin. |
| Events | Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, January 6, 2025 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Arthur Bergren officiating, with interment in the Swede Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Sunday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake and for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Monday. A luncheon will follow at the Blue Hills Masonic Lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated and the family will give it to a charity of their choice. |
