| About | Cynthia Lee (Peschl) Suchomel, age 47, of Sun Prairie, died July 2, 2000 at home following an extended illness. She was born on May 6, 1953 in Stoughton, the daughter of Donald V. Sr. and Delores J. (Smyth) Peschl. She married John L. Suchomel on Jan. 8, 1972 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church in Sun Prairie. She was a past employee of Dairy Queen and a longtime employee of Davison's Convenience Store (Jiffy Stop). She was a past member of the Burke Horseshoe Team, enjoyed playing bingo, and was an avid crafter and a good friend to many. She is survived by her husband, John of Sun Prairie; a son, Joe of Sun Prairie; a daughter, Rhonda of Sun Prairie; brothers and sisters, Jackie Nachreiner, Jill (Jeff) Benzine, Donald (Wendy) Peschl, John (Debbie) Peschl, Stanley (Gina) Peschl, Sharon (Jim) Derr, Brian, Teri and Karen Peschl; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rudy and Janet Suchomel of Sun Prairie; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Rudy Suchomel, Bonnie (Dennis) Nagel, Rick (Debbie) Suchomel and Julie (John) Steigerwald, also of Sun Prairie. She was preceeded in death by her parents; a son, John, Jr.; and a brother Bruce. Visitation and a funeral Mass were held July 6 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert the Great Dr., with Father Mike Richel officiating. A private burial will be held in Sacred Hearts Cemetery. The Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., handled the arrangements. |
