About | Terry James Lerud June 14, 1954 – April 16, 2007 Terry James Lerud passed away on April 16, 2007, in the company of his family who loved him so very much. Terry was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Growing up, he was a speed skater, played guitar in a band, and excelled in tennis. As a junior in high school, he met Eva Wick, who after a courtship of seven years would become his wife. In 1980, Terry and Eva (by then finally married) moved to Northern Nevada, where they have remained for the past twenty six years. Saying goodbye is never easy, and there are no words to express just how much Terry will be missed. Terry was, and always will be, universally loved by his family and friends. To his wife, he was a lifelong love and companion. To his daughter, he was a hero. To his son, he was a best friend. As much as he will be missed, the truth is that we were all so lucky to have had him in our lives. He was, and will always be remembered as, an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend. We are all better people for having known him, and nothing can ever take away the wonderful fifty-two years that he shared with so many. Terry is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years Eva, his children Alicia and Steven, his parents Virginia and Sterling, his sister Tracy, and his brother Jeff. He will be missed by countless others… |
