| Events | Betty A. Roeseler, 86, of Watertown, passed away on November 28, 2025, at SSM Health-St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 11:00am at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Ewings and Pastor Quinnett officiating. Friends and relatives may pay their respects at the church from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Betty was born in Watertown on January 24, 1939, to the late Arthur and Selma (nee Kelm) Klug. She attended St. John’s Lutheran School and was a 1957 graduate of Watertown Senior High School. Following graduation, she worked at the office of Brandt, Inc., until her marriage. On May 24, 1958, she married Delmar Roeseler at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Betty was a dedicated housewife and mother. She returned to work as a cook at St. John’s school from 1973 to 1983. She worked as a dietician at Watertown Memorial Hospital from 1983 until her retirement in November 2003. Betty was an active member of St. John’s Ladies Aid for many years. In retirement she volunteered for various projects in the church office at St. John’s and she also volunteered at the Watertown Historical Society. She is survived by her daughter Shari (Elizabeth) of Sacramento, California and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Roeseler of Hartford, WI. Also surviving are her many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Randy in 2019, husband Delamar in 2021, her sisters Beverly and Pearl, and eight sisters and brothers-in-law.
