Harley Arthur Herold Jr was born on April 9, 1957 to parents Harley and Delores (Zastrow) Herold in Watertown, Wisconsin. After graduating from Watertown High School, Harley joined the U.S Marines. Upon completion of his military career, attaining the rank of Sargeant he attended MATC and became a licensed master electrician. Harley worked at Watertown Regional Medical Center as a facilities manager and later retired from ProHealth Care as a Building Project Manager.

Harley was blessed to find great love in recent years that shared his fondness of ice cream and love of Jesus. He and wife Jeaunetta (Foster) were united in marriage on May 21, 2022. It was a blessing for them to share the love of the Lord with others, especially as they delivered Meals on Wheels to local seniors.

Above anything else, Harley loved to be a blessing to others and would do anything from remodeling houses to building sets for the high school plays. He was a friend to everyone and loved to visit people, sometimes chatting for hours at a time. Anyone who knows Harley, has heard all about his 1955 Studebaker. He brought it home from Camp Lejeune in North Carolina to Watertown in the late 70’s. It was his biggest dream to see it restored. Harley was very proud of his achievements as he worked in healthcare. He received numerous certifications in facilities management and served as the president of WI Healthcare Engineering Association (WHEA). He had a beautiful voice and could whistle any tune. Harley was a member of the Watertown American Legion and the Marine Corp League.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeaunetta Westenberg-Herold; children Michael Herold, Nicholas (Tiffany) Herold, Melissa Bahn, and Patrick Herold, as well as Jourdan (Sarah) Westenberg and Jaeden Westenberg; grandchildren, Malanie, Felicity, Harley, and Kassidy; mother, Delores Herold; sisters, Debbie (Brent) Carlson, Donna Oestreicher, Laurie (Joe) Haberkorn, Susan (Rob) Kilday and Linda Marquette; brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Herold, David (Deb Hughes) Herold and Jim (Susan) Herold; Uncle, Wally Zastrow, Aunt, Penny Zastrow; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Harley was preceded in death by his father, Harley Herold Sr.; grandparents; and other aunts, uncles and friends.
