About (no additional information)
Events James J. Kreuziger, 68 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024. He was happy to have spent his final months living at the same family farm where he was raised, lived, and worked for his entire life.

Jim was born on June 25, 1956, in Watertown, the son of Norbert and Margaret (Berg) Kreuziger Sr. His life was defined by three core principles of Family, Farm, and Faith. Born to a large Catholic family, Jim was always present at holiday and milestone celebrations delivering his wit and quirky humor. The dairy farm where he lived and worked alongside his brother Norbert was his life’s passion, and he cared deeply for the land and livestock. His daily joy came from feeding the calves, raising pigs, and managing a colony of cats. Jim was also a faithful and life-long member of St. Henry Catholic Church and will be laid to rest at their cemetery.

Beyond these core principles, Jim possessed a high degree of aptitude and understanding for a wide range of subjects. He graduated from UW-Madison in 1978, was an avid reader, and regularly demonstrated an uncanny ability in math and finance. He loved to get together with friends and play cards, particularly sheepshead. Jim was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was also incredibly reliable and trustworthy, regularly available for family and friends at short notice.

Jim is survived by his sisters and brothers Kathryn Witte of Lake Geneva, Pat (Ken) Reesman of West Allis, Daniel (Joan) Kreuziger of Oconomowoc, and Norbert Kreuziger Jr. of Watertown. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward Kreuziger, and a brother in infancy.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday August 10, 2024, with Fr. David Drefcinski presiding. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church with Fr. David celebrating.
