Events Karenlee "Karen" R. Foskett, 77, of Beaver Dam, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.



Karenlee Rose Foskett was born September 3, 1946, in Watertown, the daughter of George and Mildred (Polinski) Foskett. After her education at Watertown High School, Karen dedicated many years to her craft as a seamstress at Jaxco, Inc., located in Rio. She retired in 2006 after a fulfilling career, leaving behind a legacy of meticulous workmanship and dedication.



Karen was a devoted member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. With a passion for both the arts and intellectual challenges, she dedicated herself to the detailed craft of diamond art and the solving of complex word finds and coloring. Karen loved movies, music and politics, with a special place in her heart for The Sopranos, Dolly Parton, and Meet the Press



Karen is survived by children, Tricia (Nate) Henderson and Martin Velez; grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Samuel, and Vincent; brothers, Dale (Mary) Foskett and Russell Foskett; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



Karen was preceded in death by her life partner, Bryson White; parents; and sister-in-law, Barbara Foskett.





A memorial service will take place on May 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Girl Scout House in Beaver Dam.

Inurnment will take place at Lutheran cemetery in Watertown at a later date.
