Events Max G. Justmann, 95, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Born on January 18, 1928, Max Gilbert Justmann was the cherished son of Mr. & Mrs. Max Justmann, Sr. He was a proud graduate of Watertown High School, Class of 1946. Max honorably served in the United States Army during World War II, where he was stationed as a Military Police in the Presidio of San Francisco.



After his military service, Max built a successful career at the United States Gypsum Company, contributing significantly to their sales department.



On May 19, 1951, Max married the love of his life, Betty Korth, in their hometown of Watertown. Their enduring love story spanned over 70 years, a testament to their deep commitment and affection. In his younger years, Max was a passionate semi-professional hockey player, showcasing his athletic talents and team spirit.



Max was a former member of the Watertown Country Club. He enjoyed many sunny days on the golf course alongside Betty. Most of all, Max loved spending quality time with his grandchildren.



Max is survived by his children, Mark Justmann and Jane (Fred) Orth; grandchildren, Jennifer Orth, Michael (Sara) Orth, and Matthew Justmann; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will remember him fondly.



He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; his parents; his sister, Leona Haberkorn; his brother, Carl Justmann.
