Events | Peggy Kaye (Schoenike) Preinfalk, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 6, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1950, to Edgar and Evelynn Schoenike. Peggy was a 1968 graduate of Watertown High School and a life-long member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Watertown. On June 12, 1976, she married Randall Preinfalk and together they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. Peggy spent most of her days employed at Bethesda Lutheran Homes. Peggy had a love for sports, watching game shows, and playing cards. In her earlier years, she was an avid bowler and softball player. She enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers and, like most Wisconsinites, yelling at the TV when bad calls are made. In her later years, Peggy was often in the stands cheering on her two sons while they played sports or sitting at the alleys watching her brothers and sons bowl. Now she is rejoicing in heaven with her sister having a "porch party" cheering on those they love. Peggy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, hosting many of the family get-togethers. Peggy found great joy in spending time with her two grandchildren and would have loved to watch them play sports as well. Peggy is survived by her husband Randall Preinfalk, sons Jason (Nadine) Preinfalk and Bryant Preinfalk both of Watertown, her two grandchildren Helena and Everett Preinfalk, brothers Dennis (Paula) Schoenike, Scott Schoenike, and James (Doretta) Schoenike, mother-in-law Phyllis Preinfalk all of Watertown, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Watertown. A Christian funeral service will follow with the Reverend Peter Wells presiding. The burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran School. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com |
