About | Ronald “Hooter” Gutzdorf, 64, of Watertown, passed away in his home on Thursday, October 11, 2018. A memorial service will be held at Hafemeister Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 7 o’clock p.m. with Rev. Ray Bezanson officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 4 o’clock p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated. Ronald Gutzdorf was born on May 25, 1954 to Alex Arthur Jr. and Bernice (nee Zastrow) Gutzdorf in Watertown. Hooter graduated from Watertown High School in 1972. He was employed as a Foreman at D&L Pallet for 39 years. Hooter enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers, gambling, as well as Saturday and Sunday car rides. He was a social butterfly and he had a great sense of humor. Hooter loved his children and one of his greatest joys in life was being a grandpa to Casey and Troy. He is survived by his children, Tim Gutzdorf of Beloit, Julie (Bryan Ferry) Gutzdorf of Watertown, and Rhonda Gutzdorf of Milwaukee; two grandchildren; Casey Gutzdorf, and Troy A. Maas Jr., siblings; Sandy Honn of Spokane, WA, Howie (Joyce) Gutzdorf of Watertown, Scott (Lori) Gutzdorf of Watertown, Dan Gutzdorf of Watertown, Beverly (Michael) Schilling of Watertown, Michael Gutzdorf of Watertown, and Dennis (Debra) Gutzdorf of Watertown; sister-in-law, Kathy Gutzdorf of Watertown; 2 four-legged Grand Schnauzers, Snoopy and Scruffy; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
