Events | Susan K. Erdman, age 69, of Clyman, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 21, 2016 while at home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Douglas Carter officiating. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Susan Kay Babcock was born on July 23, 1947 in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Louis Babcock, Sr. and Loraine Babcock. She was a 1966 graduate of Watertown High School. On January 15, 1968 she married Lyle “Duff” Erdman, Sr. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Susan had been employed at Schweiger Furniture for 25+ years and Brandt’s Coin Machine. She also helped run Casey’s on Q for eight years. Susan enjoyed reading, playing softball and deer hunting. She was a Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Her family was a great joy to her. Susan is survived by her husband, Lyle “Duff” Erdman, Sr. of Clyman; son, Lyle Erdman, Jr. of Reeseville; grandchildren, Nichole Mitchell, Marty Mitchell, Jr., Autim Erdman and Dylan Erdman, as well as great-grandchildren, Jackie Kreuziger and KayLynn Mitchell. She is further survived by her mother Loraine Babcock, siblings, Carol (James) Alford, Betty (Dave) Schmidt, Rose (Linus) Wickert and Louis (Annette) Babcock, Jr. and son-in-law, Martin Mitchell, Sr. and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father (Louis Babcock, Sr.), daughter, Jacqueline Mitchell, sister, Sandra Noodwang, brother-in-law, Ron Noodwang; nephew, Drew (Dougie) LaVake and niece, Keri Wickert. The family would like to say a special thank you to niece, Tina LaVake, for the loving care and support that she gave to Sue and the family and also to Rainbow Hospice (especially Alicia) for the excellent care that was given.
