| Events | Terry L. Godfrey, 67, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, at Rainbow Hospice Care, with her family lovingly by her side. Terry Lynn Wagner was born on June 4, 1958, at Lutheran Hospital in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, to Lester and Velda (Schmidt) Wagner. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1976. Over the years, Terry held a variety of jobs, but she found her greatest joy working as a pharmacy technician at Hometown Pharmacy. She truly enjoyed serving the public, especially delivering prescriptions, and remained there until her retirement. She deeply loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, sharing an especially close bond with her sister, Valerie. She had a keen eye for interior decorating, took pride in working on outdoor projects, and found simple joy in summer drives in her little white convertible. Terry is survived by her daughter, Brooke Godfrey (Christopher Wahl) of Madison; her siblings, Constance Wanke of Watertown, Shelby (Carl) Jaeger of Ixonia, Christine (Allen) Draeger of Watertown, and Tom Wagner of Watertown; her brother-in-law, Joe Theder of Watertown; her friend and former husband, Thomas Godfrey; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will remember her with love. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Velda Wagner; her brother who passed in Vietnam, Michael Wagner; her sister, Valerie Wagner; and her brother-in-law Earl Wanke. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorials in Terry’s honor to Rainbow Hospice Care would be appreciated. The family will hold a private celebration of her life. |
