Theresa L. "Terri" Kretschmann, age 53, of Stoughton passed away on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at her home. She was born on May 9, 1957, in Henderson, Nev., the daughter of Earl and Margaret (Achten) Mason. Terri graduated from Watertown High School in 1975. She was united in marriage to Duke Kretschmann on Aug. 9, 1975. Terri was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was an interior designer for American TV and was a talented artist, specializing in drawing and painting. Theresa loved to travel and had a very special connection with animals and nature. She loved her grandchildren and her time spent with them. Terri is survived by her husband, Duke; two children, Isaac (Dacia) Kretschmann of Stoughton, and Kristen Kretschmann of Monona; two grandchildren, Havyn and Gavin; mother-in-law, Barbara Kretschmann of Watertown; five siblings, Donna (John) McIntyre of Las Vegas, Nev.,Shirley (Rich) Schasse of Maple Valley, Wash., Warren Mason of Arizona, Janet (Jon) Kramer of California, and Mary (Richard) Braunschweig of Evansville; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law, Jerry Kretschmann. A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren Street, Stoughton, at noon, on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, with Monsignor Gerard Healy presiding. A private burial will be at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Watertown. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff of HospiceCare for their compassion, Monsignor Healy for his care, and all of their friends for the support given during Terri's illness. |
