| Events | It is with great sorrow, bitterness, and gratitude that Maria Baurichter announces the peaceful passing of her husband of nine years, Vincent E. Baurichter, age 67. Vincent was a kind, brave, caring, and unimaginably generous husband and provider. He will be deeply missed by his wife, co-workers, friends, and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Catherine Baurichter; one sister, Julie Baurichter; and one brother, Joey Baurichter. Vincent is survived by his wife, Maria Baurichter; daughter, Brianna Baurichter; two brothers, William Baurichter and Stephen Baurichter; three sisters, Carolyn Rock, Louise Hady, and Irene Haas; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Vincent proudly served his country for 18 years. During that time, he served as a member of the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corp, and the United States Army. Following his military service, he joined the Shreveport Police Department. He retired from the police department with the rank of Corporal, twenty years later. Vincent was a credit to the Armed Forces and the Shreveport Police Department, maintaining the highest ethical standards while upholding the values of his community. Police Integrity. His legacy will carry on forever, reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like CHRIST modeled for us. A memorial service honoring Vincent will be held from 2:00 PM til 4:30 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115.
