About | Obituary for Sharon Ann Kemerer Sharon Kemerer peacefully passed in her sleep on March 5, 2022. Sharon, known as Shari, was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on July 6, 1950 to Merrill and Janet Kemerer, the third of their three beautiful daughters. She grew up in Winneconne, WI and was both prom queen and a varsity cheerleader, before graduating in 1968. Shari went on to have a wonderful life, traveling around the world, spending most of it with family, helping others during her 30 years at LaPorte Hospital, and then retiring in Traverse City, Michigan near family. She had a quick, sarcastic wit, a look that could stop anyone dead in their tracks, and a great sense of humor, which made her fun to be around. She was also an incredible mother. Her greatest joy and pride came from her children and grandchildren. She made friends wherever she went and was a great listener. Shari lived her life on her own terms and valued God and family most. Shari is survived by her two sons, Michael Christianson of Dothan, AL., Patrick Geleske of Michigan City, IN, and her daughter, Jennifer Christianson Hill of Fairfax, Virginia; as well as her sister Susan Hanson, her brother-in-law, Michael Lambdin, and Carol Scott, her cousin/sister in spirit. Her mother and father, and sister, Sandra Lambdin, preceded her in death. Shari was blessed by six grandchildren, Hunter Hill, Faith Christianson Stough, Trevor Hill, Zachary Christianson, Abigail Christianson and Willow Geleske. Special thanks to Michael, Chris, Tim and Bridget Lambdin, who were instrumental to her care and support during her final years. While we are sad that she is gone, and her presence will be missed, we are blessed to know that she is enjoying everyone that has passed before her. Rest peacefully for you are loved by God and your whole family. Shari will be cremated with a ceremony and her cremated remains will be spread by family at a Celebration of Life planned for this summer. In lieu of flowers or donations, please keep her in your prayers, and think of her when you see yellow tulips or gerber daisies. Please feel free to share your thoughts and memories with Shari’s family at her tribute page at www.reynolds-jonkhoff.com. |
